Because we get a lot of inquiries, the fastest way to speak with one of us is to book an appointment and use the first half as a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
Returning clients: Please go to portlandstateofmind.clientsecure.me, click on Existing Client and sign in (username is your email address, password is one you created). View or cancel existing appointments by scrolling below the calendar in the Appointments section. Request future appointments by clicking on the desired time in the calendar.
Cancellation policy: Because your time slot is reserved specifically for you and other clients need time to take your place, appointments must be cancelled 48 hours in advance or the full session fee will be charged.
New clients: After you book an appointment we will send you our online consent forms to sign electronically before your first session, required for each party attending. We offer an in-session consultation during the first 25 minutes, at which point you can leave at no cost and think further on it, or continue with paying for the full session. When booking, weekly sessions are recommended in the beginning to gain progress more quickly, but every other week is also an option. It is a good idea to book future appointments in the weekly or bi-weekly time slot you desire (please look ahead in the calendar to ensure there are regular times available that will work for you), or email us to reserve a regular time slot. Please use the client portal for future cancelling or rescheduling as well.
For couples: Ensure you’ve chosen ‘couples therapy’ or ‘couples coaching’ as type of service, and please email your provider your partner’s full name and email address immediately after you’ve booked an appointment so we can send them our paperwork as well. Please also clarify in your followup email which of you we should charge for billing throughout our time together, as we only bill one client in a couple for ease of billing.
